How the Worthiness Upgrade Works
With the Worthiness Upgrade, your Thor hammer display becomes more than just a prop—it’s an interactive experience!
- Locked by Asgardian Space Magic: When you place the hammer on its base (now weighted to 5kg), powerful electromagnets hidden inside the hammer grab onto steel in the stand, making it almost impossible to lift—just like in the movies.
- Secret Release: Only the "worthy" know the hidden toggle switch on the handle. Press and hold this secret toggle, and the magnets will let go so you can lift the hammer. Release the switch, and the hammer locks again when placed on the stand.
- No Wires, Always Ready: The hammer charges automatically and wirelessly when resting on its stand. No need to plug in any cables or remove batteries.
- Smart Activation: The hammer locks only when it’s sitting in the right spot on the base, thanks to an invisible magnetic sensor.
- Locking Mechanism: Dual 5V electromagnets (10kg total holding force ) inside hammer engage with embedded steel plates in the stand.
- Activation: Reed switch triggers electromagnets only when hammer is docked (activated by N52 magnet in the base).
- Secret Release: Hidden momentary pushbutton in handle disables electromagnets for lifting.
